Kannada film producer and businessman Soundarya Jagadish tragically passed away after an alleged suicide attempt at his residence in Bengaluru, as confirmed by both police and close sources on Sunday. He was reportedly rushed to the hospital following the attempt but was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Investigations are underway to determine the circumstances surrounding his death, with his friend Shreyas addressing concerns about recent financial issues but dismissing them as unrelated to the incident. Shreyas clarified that Jagadish had attempted suicide by hanging and refuted rumors suggesting his death was due to cardiac arrest.

Jagadish, known for his involvement in film production and ownership of a city pub, faced recent controversy surrounding the pub’s license suspension following late-night partying by some film personalities and crew. Despite his diverse business ventures, Jagadish leaves behind a legacy of producing notable Kannada films like “Snehitaru,” “Appu Pappu,” “Mast Maja Maadi,” and “Ramleela.”
