New allegations have emerged against Sean “Diddy” Combs, with a man accusing the jailed rapper and music mogul of drugging and sexually assaulting him at a New York nightclub in 2012.
According to court documents, the plaintiff, who was 17 years old at the time, claims he gained entry to the club by bribing a bouncer. Once inside, he alleges he was invited to join Combs at his private table, where he was served multiple shots of vodka.
The lawsuit states that after consuming the drinks, the young man began to feel disoriented, as though he were losing control of his body, before eventually slipping in and out of consciousness.
These latest accusations add to the mounting legal troubles facing Combs, who is already entangled in a series of civil lawsuits related to alleged sexual misconduct and abuse.
The plaintiff, identified only as “John Doe” in court filings, alleges that after becoming heavily intoxicated, he was led to a secluded backroom within the SoHo nightclub, where he witnessed people using drugs and engaging with escorts. He claims that by this point, he realized the drinks he had been given were likely spiked, as he felt his mental and physical faculties deteriorating.
The lawsuit details how the plaintiff’s condition worsened, leaving him powerless to resist or fully comprehend what was happening. As his consciousness flickered in and out, he was allegedly assaulted by Combs, who is accused of taking advantage of his vulnerable state. The plaintiff describes feeling “defenseless” and unable to stop the attack, a harrowing claim that forms the core of the new legal filing against Combs.
Combs has repeatedly denied all allegations made against him, including those in numerous other civil lawsuits. He has previously described the accusations as “sickening” and has vowed to fight them in court.
In response to the latest claims, the BBC has reached out to Combs’ legal team for comment, but as of now, they have yet to issue a public statement specifically addressing these new allegations.
However, in an earlier response to separate federal criminal charges, Combs’ attorney maintained his client’s innocence, stating that Combs “never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor.” Despite these denials, the number of legal actions against Combs continues to grow, further complicating his already precarious legal situation.
The unfolding scandal surrounding Combs has attracted widespread attention, with figures in the music industry weighing in on his legal battle. Among them is rapper Kanye West, who recently made a public appeal to former President Donald Trump, urging him to grant Combs a pardon before his upcoming trial.
West took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice his support, posting a direct plea that read, “FREE PUFF,” followed by another message tagging Trump directly: “@realDonaldTrump PLEASE FREE MY BROTHER PUFF.”
West’s involvement adds another layer of controversy to the case, as his plea for clemency comes amid growing scrutiny over Combs’ alleged history of sexual misconduct and abuse. The high-profile nature of the case has kept it at the center of media attention, with public opinion sharply divided on the matter.
Meanwhile, legal representatives for Combs’ accusers indicate that the allegations against him are far from over. In early February, an attorney handling cases against the embattled rapper revealed that over ten additional civil lawsuits are expected to be filed in the near future.
Currently, Combs is facing more than 30 civil lawsuits, many of which accuse him of sexual assault and other forms of misconduct. In addition to the civil cases, Combs is also being held in a New York jail as he awaits trial on federal criminal charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering.
With the legal pressure mounting, the once-celebrated music mogul is now at the center of one of the most explosive scandals in the entertainment industry, a downfall that continues to unfold in real time.
