Nigerian musicians Portable and Speed Darlington are preparing for an explosive showdown this April, with fans eagerly anticipating a celebrity boxing match that promises to settle their ongoing feud.
The two entertainers, who have been embroiled in a war of words for some time, are set to face off in the ring on the evening of Friday, April 18, 2025, at the Balmoral Convention Center. “Why did I bring myself low? Why did I contact Portable? I regret it because why the insults? Why did my mother get into the discussion?” Darlington said, clearly upset by the direction the argument had taken. His frustration was evident, as he felt that Portable had taken the disagreement too far by involving his mother in the exchange.
In response, Portable escalated the situation even further by challenging Darlington to a fight. He boasted that he would easily defeat him in the ring, just as he had done to actor Charles Okocha in a previous altercation.
“I want to fight you. We should both be put in a boxing ring. I will defeat you like I defeated Okocha,” Portable bragged, clearly confident in his physical abilities.
