Veteran Nigerian actor Richard Mofe Damijo, also known as RMD, has dazzled audiences once again with his appearance in his second Bollywood film, “Postcards.”

Following his successful debut in the cross-cultural comedy “Namaste Wahala” in 2020, which united talents from Nigeria’s Nollywood and India’s Bollywood, RMD’s involvement in “Postcards” marks another milestone in his international career.

Joining RMD in “Postcards” are other Nollywood luminaries such as Tobi Bakre, Sola Shobowale, Nancy Isime, and Rahama Sadau, among others. RMD took to his Facebook page to share his excitement about being part of the Indian film, reminiscing about his childhood in Warri, Nigeria, where he would trek for miles to catch Indian movies at local cinemas.

He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to now star in his second Indian film, crediting veteran Indian actor Amitabh Bachchan’s encouragement and the magic woven by film producer Hamisha Ahuja.

Ahuja, in a post on her Instagram page, highlighted the importance of versatility in casting decisions for “Postcards.” She sought actors who could effortlessly portray a spectrum of emotions and personalities, underscoring the dynamic storytelling expected in the film.

Shot on location in both India and Nigeria, “Postcards” promises to captivate audiences with its cross-cultural narrative and rich portrayal of diverse characters, building on the success of its predecessor, “Namaste Wahala.”
