Ethnicity: Nigerian (open to all tribes)
Accent: Nigerian English with occasional Pidgin
Character Energy: Dramatic, expressive, comedic, larger-than-life

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:

Sisi Pepeye is a flamboyant, over-the-top Nollywood diva known for turning the smallest inconvenience into a cinematic tragedy. Everything she says and does must sparkle — even her mistakes.
She exaggerates, deflects blame, and performs every emotion at 110%.
When she wears a fake moustache in the wrong scene, she insists it’s “creative expression” and refuses to remove it, causing chaos on set. She is hilarious, vibrant, unpredictable, occasionally delusional — but always entertaining. This actress must be able to flip from emotional breakdown to comedic brilliance instantly.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We need an actress who can:
Deliver strong comedic timing
Switch effortlessly between drama queen energy and vulnerable sincerity
Use expressive body language, facial exaggerations, and diva gestures
Perform confidently in English with small Pidgin elements
Handle fast-paced back-and-forth arguments
Bring bold presence and charisma to the screenExperience in comedy or Nollywood-style acting is a plus, but not required.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:

Please submit:

1. A 1–2 minute comedic monologue ( View Sisi Pepeye's Script )
2. Create a short improv clip recreating Sisi’s “fake moustache meltdown”
3. The video clip should include name, age, height, location, and acting background

Self-tapes must have good lighting and clear audio.

SELF-TAPE AUDITION GUIDELINES

Please read carefully before submitting your audition.

GENERAL SETUP

Camera & Framing

• Use a phone or camera in landscape mode
• Frame from mid-chest to just above the head
• Keep the camera at eye level
• Do not move the camera during the take

Lighting

• Face a natural light source or use a soft light
• Avoid harsh shadows on the face
• Do not backlight yourself

Sound

• Record in a quiet space
• Ensure your voice is clear and audible
• Avoid background music or noise

PERFORMANCE INSTRUCTIONS

Tone & Style

• This is a comedy-drama, not a skit
• Play the character truthfully, even when exaggerated
• Avoid cartoon acting — energy should feel natural but bold
  

Language

• Perform in 95% English
• Add light Nigerian Pidgin only where it feels organic
• Accents should be authentic (do not overdo it)
