Nigerian music superstars Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid have received the highest nominations for the 2024 Africa Arts Entertainments Awards (AAEA). Davido leads with twelve nominations, followed by Burna Boy with ten, and Wizkid with seven.
These three artists will compete in several major categories, including AAEA Best Continental Male Artiste and AAEA Continental Artiste of the Year.
In addition to the top three nominees, other notable Nigerian artists such as Rema, Tems, Omah Lay, Yemi Alade, Asake, Tiwa Savage, Simi Kosoko, Majeed, Lojay, Ayra Starr, and Kiz Daniel also received nominations.
The AAEA celebrates the achievements of African music artists, recognizing their talents and successes across various categories, including Best Continental Male Artiste, Continental Artiste of the Year, Continental Album/EP of the Year, Best Continental Int’l Feature, Best Continental Afro RnB Hit, and Best Continental Afro Rap Fusion Hit, among others.
