Amber Heard has joyfully announced the arrival of twins in a heartfelt Instagram post shared on Mother’s Day in the United States.

The American actress revealed that she had welcomed a daughter, Agnes, and a son, Ocean, calling their arrival the “completion” of her family.

“Elated beyond words,” she wrote beneath a touching image of three pairs of tiny feet. “Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life.”

Heard, 39, who first became a mother in 2021 with the birth of her daughter Oonagh, has always been open about her journey into motherhood.

In her latest post, she emphasized that her decision to have children was made “responsibly and thoughtfully.” Reflecting on her experience, she added, “I couldn’t possibly burst with more joy. This is the family I have strived to build for years.”

The actress used the moment to send a message of solidarity to mothers around the world. “To all the moms, wherever you are today and however you got here, my dream family and I are celebrating with you,” she wrote.

Her words seemed to resonate with her followers, many of whom praised her for her strength and resilience.

Amber Heard first shared her thoughts on unconventional motherhood when she welcomed Oonagh in 2021. At the time, she expressed her belief that it should be “normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib.”

In a candid Instagram post then, she wrote, “I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way.”

Best known for her roles in films like “The Rum Diary,” “Drive Angry,” “Zombieland,” and “Aquaman,” Heard’s personal life has often been as publicized as her acting career.

Her brief marriage to actor Johnny Depp from 2015 to 2016 ended in a highly publicized and bitter legal battle, with both parties accusing each other of domestic abuse.

In 2020, Depp lost a high-profile libel case in the UK against The Sun newspaper, which had published an article calling him a “wife-beater.” Heard testified in that case, supporting the newspaper’s claims.

The following year, their legal conflict continued in the United States, where Depp sued Heard for defamation over an article she wrote for The Washington Post, in which she described herself as a survivor of domestic abuse without naming Depp.

The US trial, which took place in Virginia in 2022, became a global spectacle, with jurors ultimately awarding Depp $15 million in compensatory and punitive damages after finding Heard liable for defamation.

Heard, however, won one of her counterclaims against Depp, receiving $2 million in compensatory damages.

Despite the painful public battles, Heard’s recent announcement reflects a focus on healing and her commitment to embracing motherhood on her own terms.
