Ashanti and Nelly’s journey began in 2003 when they first started dating, but their relationship encountered a hiatus in 2013. In 2023, they reignited their romance, ultimately solidifying their commitment in an Instagram post on Ashanti’s birthday in October.
While Ashanti eagerly awaits the arrival of her first child, Nelly has two children from a previous relationship. In addition, Nelly has embraced the role of fatherhood through adoption, with two children from his late stepsister Jaqueline Donahue, who tragically passed away from leukemia in 2005.
