Grammy-nominated singer Ayra Starr has released the music video for “Last Heartbreak Song,” a track from her second album, “The Year I Turned 21.”

The album features 15 tracks with guest appearances from several superstars, including American RnB star Giveon.

Released on June 3, 2024, the video has quickly garnered over 260,000 views within 15 hours.

The video, shot at the beach, effectively conveys the song’s emotions of hurt and pain. Ayra Starr is depicted standing behind a concrete wall, symbolizing the defenses she put up after a painful heartbreak.

In his verse, Giveon appears behind the wall, which gradually cracks and gives way as he implores Ayra Starr to give their love another chance.

“Last Heartbreak Song” has been one of the best-performing songs from the album, and the music video further solidifies its status as a lead single.

“The Year I Turned 21” has received positive reactions and critical acclaim for its multi-genre approach, showcasing Ayra Starr’s growth and success.

Additionally, the album set a new record for the most opening day streams for an album by a Nigerian female artist on Spotify, highlighting Ayra Starr’s international fame.
