Nigerian superstars Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Asake, Tems, Davido, Lojay, and Seyi Vibez have all been nominated for the 2024 BET Awards. Ayra Starr leads the group with three nominations: Best New Artist, Best African Act, and Best HER for her single ‘Comma’.
Burna Boy and Tems each received two nominations. Burna Boy is up for Best RnB/Pop Act and Best Hip Hop Act, while Tems is nominated for Best Video Director and Best Gospel/Inspirational Song for ‘Me & U’.
Davido and Lojay are nominated for the Viewers Choice Award for their feature on Chris Brown’s ‘Sensational’. Asake has been nominated for Best International Act, and Seyi Vibez is up for Viewers Choice Best International New Act.
