Irish comedian and actress Aisling Bea has announced her pregnancy with her first child. The 40-year-old shared the news on Instagram through a series of photos taken at a charity event in Kansas City, where she performed as a backing dancer for Sheryl Crow.
The photos prominently featured Bea’s baby bump. A video also showed Bea dancing on stage at Big Slick ’24 with American comedian Seth Herzog, both humorously displaying bare stomachs with cartoon faces drawn on them.
The Instagram post included pictures with celebrities like Marvel star Paul Rudd and American football player Travis Kelce.
Bea humorously captioned her announcement, joking about trying to make Rudd look older by standing next to him with her bump.
She expressed gratitude to her celebrity friends for participating in her creative reveal and thanked Sheryl Crow for allowing her and Herzog to be her backup dancers.

Bea also thanked her partner, composer and producer Jack Freeman, and actress Elsie Hewitt for their support and involvement in her pregnancy reveal.
She warned fans about the lasting effect of the pens used to draw on their stomachs. Celebrities like Nicola Coughlan, Nish Kumar, and Sally Phillips quickly congratulated her.
In a follow-up note, Bea confirmed her pregnancy, humorously referencing a past incident in 2021 when fans mistakenly thought she was pregnant after she posted a photo of herself with a bloated stomach from eating too much bread.
Bea is known for her work in the comedy series “This Way Up” and appearances on shows like “Taskmaster,” “Doctor Who,” and various panel shows.
