Comedian Justice Nuagbe, popularly known as Ushbebe, has sparked conversation online after calling for national prayers for legendary Nigerian musician 2Baba (Innocent Idibia), over what he described as a troubling relationship dynamic between the singer and Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru.

In a recent video shared online, Ushbebe expressed deep concern over how 2Baba has been publicly seen with Natasha, suggesting that the closeness between the two raises questions. According to him, the relationship seems imbalanced, and the once-revered artist now appears to be losing some of the mystique that made him a legend.

Speaking in his characteristic comedic yet critical tone, Ushbebe did not hold back as he described how uncomfortable it is to see a musical icon being treated, in his words, “like a schoolboy.” He questioned the way Natasha has allegedly been leading 2Baba around, hinting at what he perceives as an overly controlling influence.

“I like minding my business,” Ushbebe began, “but on this particular issue, I have to speak up. Which one be all these rubbish na? Which one be all these see finish na?” His comments reflect both disbelief and concern over what he believes to be a diminishing of 2Baba’s legendary status.

The comedian continued his rant by likening 2Baba’s behavior to that of a helpless child being dropped off at school. “You go dey hold legend hand, dey carry am waka like person wey you wan go drop for school,” he said, shaking his head. “Legend supposed be legend o! 2Face, free yourself. Emancipate yourself o!”

With those words, Ushbebe called on Nigerians to rally spiritually and pray for the beloved artist to regain his autonomy and return to his iconic stature, untouched by whatever external influences may currently surround him.

Interestingly, Ushbebe is not the first to voice concern about the growing relationship between 2Baba and Natasha Osawaru. Reports have surfaced in the past pointing to the disapproval of 2Baba’s mother, Rose Idibia, who is said to have asked the lawmaker to give her son some space.

While details remain unclear and largely speculative, the pattern of concern from close observers seems to suggest that more may be unfolding behind the scenes than what the public currently knows.

Although neither 2Baba nor Natasha has publicly addressed these allegations or clarified the nature of their relationship, Ushbebe’s video has reignited public discourse. His passionate plea to “call for prayers for legend o!” is as much a comedic skit as it is a cultural critique of how easily icons can be stripped of their reverence in the public eye.

Whether his comments will prompt any response from those involved remains to be seen, but for now, they have certainly sparked nationwide curiosity.
