Nigerian global music sensation D’Banj has announced his highly-anticipated fifth studio album, ‘Entertainer – The Sequel’. This album, a blend of Afrobeats and Afropop, features eleven songs and two bonus tracks and is set for release on August 9, 2024.
D’Banj has collaborated with a range of international stars for this project, including Grammy award winner Wyclef Jean, Congolese icon Awilo Logomba, Senegalese music legend Youssou N’Dour, American superstar Akon, South African megastar DJ Maphorisa, and NBC’s The Voice sensation Chechi Sarai.
The album also includes contributions from Nigerian musicians Phyno, Timaya, Kayswitch, Zlatan, Peruzzi, Bhadboi Oml, and Chuchu Lee.Ahead of the album release, D’banj has dropped a new single titled ‘Worthy’ featuring Youssou N’Dour and Chechi Sarai, providing a preview of what fans can expect from the album.

Expressing his excitement, D’Banj described ‘Entertainer – The Sequel’ as a reflection of his growth as an artist and his commitment to advancing African music. He conveyed his gratitude for the support he has received over the past 20 years and shared his enthusiasm for this new chapter in his musical journey.
Following the album’s release, D’banj will embark on a global tour in partnership with The Temple Company, performing in major cities worldwide.
