Nigerian music sensation D’Banj has released his much-anticipated fifth studio album, The Entertainer – D’Sequel, which creatively blends Afrobeats and Afropop across eleven tracks and two bonus songs. This album features a global lineup of artists including Grammy winner Wyclef Jean, Congolese icon Awilo Logomba, and the late Fela Kuti’s Egypt ’80 Band, as well as other international stars like Akon and Youssou N’Dour.

Additionally, the album showcases collaborations with Nigerian talents such as Phyno, Timaya, Zlatan, and emerging artists discovered through D’Banj’s Cream Platform talent project.

D’Banj’s new album is a follow-up to his 2008 hit album The Entertainer and reflects his growth as an artist over the years. The album marks a new chapter in his two-decade-long career, during which he has remained committed to pushing the boundaries of African music.

D’Banj expressed his gratitude for the love and support he has received throughout his journey and shared his excitement to present this project to his fans as a testament to his continuous evolution.

In conjunction with The Temple Company and leading music company gamma, D’Banj will celebrate his 20-year milestone with a series of live performances, intimate concerts, and meet-and-greet events across major global cities.

These events will also include mentoring sessions and thought-leadership interactions, allowing D’Banj to connect more deeply with his fans and the next generation of artists.

Following the album’s release, D’Banj also debuted the music video for the lead single “Koko,” solidifying his enduring legacy as the Koko Master and showcasing his continuous influence and relevance in the music scene.
