Three men have come forward with serious allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs, accusing him of drugging their drinks and sexually assaulting them while they were unconscious.
The lawsuits, filed separately and reviewed by NBC News, detail similar patterns of alleged abuse occurring between 2019 and 2022, often in hotel rooms or Combs’s private residence.
These shocking claims mark the latest in a series of lawsuits accusing the prominent rapper and entrepreneur of sexual misconduct spanning decades.
Combs’s legal team has categorically denied the allegations, describing them as “full of lies” and vowing to “prove them false” while pursuing legal action against the lawyers involved.
In one of the lawsuits filed in New York’s Supreme Court, a long-time employee of Combs alleged he was sexually assaulted in early 2020.
The man claimed he worked for Combs from 2006 to 2018, running errands and assisting with personal tasks. He approached Combs to discuss unpaid wages and was invited to meet at a hotel room.
According to the complaint, Combs served him a drink, and within minutes, he felt unusually tired and drowsy. When he regained consciousness, he alleged that Combs was raping him, and despite his attempts to resist, the assault continued.
The lawyer representing all three plaintiffs, Thomas Giuffra, described the alleged pattern of abuse as “very consistent.” Speaking to NBC News, Giuffra claimed, “He would hit them with the drinks, knock them out, and when they woke up, he’d be raping them.”
Another plaintiff alleged he met Combs at a Manhattan nightclub in 2019 and was invited to an afterparty at the Park Hyatt hotel.
The man stated in his lawsuit that Combs offered him a personally prepared cocktail. He lost consciousness shortly after consuming it and later woke up to find Combs raping him.
The assault was reportedly filmed, and the following morning, the man who recorded the incident handed him $2,500, claiming it was from Combs.
A third lawsuit alleged multiple sexual assaults by Combs and his associates from 2020 to 2022. One specific incident described in the court documents occurred at a party hosted at Combs’s mansion in East Hampton, New York.
The plaintiff claimed he began to feel ill during the event, fading in and out of consciousness, and was subsequently raped.
These allegations suggest a disturbing pattern of exploitation involving drugs and sexual violence, further intensifying the scrutiny on Combs’s behavior over the years.
These lawsuits add to the mounting accusations against Combs, who has faced similar claims of sexual misconduct and assault dating back to the 1990s.
Earlier allegations included instances of physical violence, emotional abuse, and rape, with some cases involving former partners and associates.
The rapper, known earlier in his career as Puff Daddy, has denied all accusations and labeled the claims “sickening” and baseless attempts by individuals seeking financial gain.
Despite his denials, the consistent nature of the allegations has raised serious concerns about the power dynamics in the entertainment industry.
In addition to the civil lawsuits, Combs, 55, has been in detention since September following his arrest by federal agents on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transporting individuals for prostitution.
These criminal charges are unrelated to the recent civil lawsuits but paint a damning picture of alleged systemic abuse.
Combs has pleaded not guilty to these criminal charges, and his trial is scheduled to begin in May. His legal team has maintained his innocence, dismissing the allegations as part of a broader conspiracy to tarnish his reputation.
As the legal battles unfold, these accusations have cast a shadow over Combs’s decades-long career as a rapper, producer, and business mogul.
Once celebrated for his contributions to the music and entertainment industry, his legacy now faces significant scrutiny.
The outcomes of the lawsuits and criminal trial will likely determine the lasting impact of these allegations on his career and public image.
For now, the claims have sparked a broader conversation about accountability and abuse within the world of celebrity and entertainment.
