Nigerian disc jockey Kudirat Gbemisola, known professionally as DJ Kulet, has announced her separation from her husband, Ohis Emmanuel.
The couple, who tied the knot earlier this year in a lavish ceremony, have decided to part ways after just eight months of marriage. DJ Kulet took to Instagram on Monday to share the news with her followers, accusing her husband of infidelity and other egregious actions.
In her Instagram post, DJ Kulet expressed her disappointment and heartbreak over the situation. “I’m publicly disassociating myself from my ex-husband, Ohis Emmanuel (aka Benjamin) @hemmarsnoop due to his egregious & reprehensible actions,” she wrote. She went on to explain that despite overwhelming evidence of his infidelity, including chats, photos, videos, and voice notes, Ohis had refused to change his ways.
The final straw for DJ Kulet was the shocking discovery of her husband’s prolonged sexual abuse of a 13-year-old minor, which occurred under their roof for six months. “Previously, I had forgiven him after he shifted the blame for his infidelity to external influences, unaware of the extent of his abuse,” she revealed. This revelation left her feeling betrayed and compelled to take action.
Further investigation into Ohis’s behavior uncovered even more disturbing details. On December 28th, 2024, a video confession revealed that he had also molested his 13-year-old cousin, resulting in her contracting an infection, as well as her friend.
DJ Kulet described his predatory behavior as predominantly targeting minors and noted that he continued to engage in infidelity with multiple women throughout their short-lived marriage.
“As a victim myself, I feel compelled to expose individuals like him to protect others,” DJ Kulet stated. She urged everyone to be vigilant and hold perpetrators accountable for their actions.
In their less than eight months of marriage, DJ Kulet revealed that she had treated infections three times, further highlighting the extent of her husband’s infidelity and reckless behavior.
