Drake has recently made a significant release of previously unseen content, including three new songs and behind-the-scenes footage, which he shared via the website 100gigs.
The Canadian rapper announced the drop by posting a screenshot of the site on his Instagram Story. The release features three unreleased tracks titled “It’s Up,” featuring Young Thug and 21 Savage; “Housekeeping Knows,” featuring Latto; and “Blue Green Red.”
This extensive collection, totaling just over 100 gigabytes, comes after a period of relative silence for Drake following his high-profile feud with fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar.
Among the newly released material, one folder references Drake’s 2016 hit “Hotline Bling,” providing insight into its creation. The footage includes Drake explaining that the song was named after a romantic interest, saved in his phone as “Hotline Bling,” and features various clips from the music video’s production, showcasing him dancing in front of a color-changing background and reviewing his performance.
Another folder, linked to Drake’s 2022 album Honestly Nevermind, shows studio footage of the album’s production process, capturing Drake and his team’s reactions to the music.
The release has prompted a mixed reaction from fans on social media. While some praised the new track “It’s Up” as one of Drake’s best songs, others criticized the artist for potential over-saturation in his music output.
This release follows months of tension between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, a feud that escalated earlier in the year with a series of diss tracks and public exchanges.
The conflict, which has simmered for years, intensified when Drake accused Kendrick of selling out and made derogatory comments about him, while Kendrick countered with criticisms of Drake’s music and personal life.
Despite the ongoing feud, Drake’s song “Not Like Us” achieved record-breaking success on Spotify and topped the US charts, demonstrating his continued dominance in the music industry.
