Dua Lipa delivered a standout performance as a headliner at this year’s Glastonbury Festival, captivating a massive audience at the Pyramid Stage. At 28, Lipa’s talent was evident as she commanded the stage with a series of hits, showcasing her powerful voice and effortless dance moves.

Opening with “Training Season” from her latest album “Radical Optimism,” she maintained high energy throughout her set, performing popular tracks such as “Be The One,” “Levitating,” “Hallucinate,” “One Kiss,” “Physical,” “New Rules,” and “Don’t Start Now.”

The show was a spectacle with fireworks lighting up the sky and several costume changes adding to the excitement. Lipa described the night as “the maddest night of my life” and expressed her gratitude to the audience, sharing how she had manifested this moment and worked hard to achieve it.

Her performance included a heartfelt moment when she performed “Cold Heart,” her collaboration with Sir Elton John, greeting fans who had secured their spots hours in advance.

In keeping with Glastonbury tradition, Lipa brought out a surprise guest, Kevin Parker from Tame Impala, to perform “The Less I Know The Better.” She also teased “Barbie’s Dance The Night” during one of her costume changes.

The star paid homage to the festival’s audience with 90s rave imagery on the screens and rainbow confetti cannons. While some moments of the set felt more tailored for the TV audience, her choreography was captivating from any viewpoint.Festival organizer Emily Eavis had earlier declared that Lipa was “born” to headline, a sentiment Lipa fully justified by the end of her set, closing with “Houdini.”

Her performance was a masterclass in pop artistry, setting a high bar for other headliners at the festival. If Lipa stays to enjoy the rest of the weekend, she will witness firsthand the array of brilliant acts, but her own set will undoubtedly be a highlight to beat.
