Former Disney Channel star Skai Jackson was arrested at Universal Studios theme park following reports of a domestic incident, Los Angeles police have confirmed. The incident occurred just after 5 p.m. on Friday, leading to Jackson, 22, being taken into custody for domestic battery.
After an initial investigation, police determined that Jackson was the primary aggressor in the altercation and arrested her for misdemeanor spousal battery. The actress was subsequently transported to a police station in West Hollywood and is scheduled to appear in Van Nuys Superior Court.
Jackson, who rose to fame as a child actress playing Zuri Ross on the Disney Channel series Jessie from 2011 to 2015, is well known for her role in the spin-off show Bunk’d.
