Frank Igho Okpokoro Vaughan, a prominent filmmaker and former Vice President of the Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN), has passed away.
He died on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, following a battle with an undisclosed illness.
His death was confirmed by Victor Okhai, President of the DGN, in a recent telephone conversation with Vanguard. Vaughan, born in the 1960s, had recently taken on a pastoral role at Dominion City Church in Asaba, Delta State.
Besides his filmmaking career, he was known as a seasoned TV producer, director, and commentator on current affairs and politics.
His passing follows closely after the death of actor Amaechi Muonagor on March 24, 2024, at the age of 61, who had been battling kidney disease.
