Fuji musician Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma proudly attended the convocation ceremony of his daughter, Aliyah Mofiyinfoluwa Odetola, held at a prestigious institution in the United States.
Sharing his joy on Instagram, Pasuma expressed gratitude to God alongside a video from the ceremony. Aliyah graduated with honors from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the School of Integrative Biology.
He wrote:
“Haliamdulilahi Robin Al’amin, my daughter, Aliyah Mofiyinfoluwa Odetola, just graduated at University of Illinois Urbana Champagne Chicago with honours. Modupe Olohun Oba, anu nimori gba, kii shagbara.”
Not only was she a member of the class of 2024, but she was also honored with an Academic Achievement Programme award. The ceremony took place at the Tryon Festival Theatre within the Krannert Centre for the Performing Arts, marking a significant milestone in Aliyah’s academic journey.
