Girls Aloud kicked off their reunion tour with an emotional tribute to their late bandmate, Sarah Harding, in Dublin. Despite a 30-minute delay due to motorway closures, fans were thrilled when Nadine Coyle, Cheryl, Nicola Roberts, and Kimberley Walsh took the stage singing “Untouchable” from individual podiums.

The tour is dedicated to Harding, who passed away from cancer in September 2021 at the age of 39.

During the performance, the group honored Harding by singing a duet with her pre-recorded vocals of “I’ll Stand By You,” and paused during “The Promise” to watch a video of Harding performing.

The official Girls Aloud X account expressed excitement, praising Dublin’s incredible response to the tour’s first show.

Girls Aloud formed in 2002 after winning “Popstars: The Rivals” and achieved significant success, including four UK number one singles and a Brit award. They reunited in 2012 for their 10th anniversary and planned a 20th-anniversary reunion before Harding’s cancer diagnosis.

The tour began with two nights in Dublin’s 3Arena and will continue with concerts in Belfast and Manchester. Due to high demand, six additional dates were added to their UK and Ireland 2024 arena tour.
