A fresh round of social media drama has erupted between Nigerian singers Dammy Krane and Jaywon Juwonlo over their differing stances on superstar Davido.

The dispute began when Jaywon took to X (formerly Twitter) to reference an old interview where Davido criticized Nigeria’s economic state, saying, “Nigeria’s economy is in shambles.”

Jaywon questioned Davido’s critics, wondering why those who previously condemned him for speaking out had suddenly gone silent.

He wrote, “A few months ago, when Davido spoke about the state of the country in an interview, some people quickly came together to call him out as if he was lying. Abeg, where are those people today? The reality is clear that Nigerians are their own biggest problem.”

His post seemed to challenge those who dismissed Davido’s remarks, urging them to acknowledge the country’s deteriorating conditions.

Dammy Krane, however, was quick to react in the comment section, taking a swipe at Davido rather than addressing Jaywon’s point. He wrote, “FLOPIDO & his family are part of Nigeria’s problem. Dem sef dey in power & na dem de distribute power.”

The statement suggested that Davido and his family, given their wealth and influence, were contributors to the country’s challenges.

This reaction sparked outrage among Davido’s fans, as many felt it was an unnecessary attack rather than a response to the actual issue raised. Dammy Krane’s comment only escalated tensions, setting the stage for a heated online feud.

Not stopping there, Jaywon turned his attention to Wizkid’s fanbase, popularly known as FC, accusing them of frequently meddling in issues that do not concern them.

He wrote, “Just because say you dey suffer no mean say everybody dey suffer. 97% of FCs are empty heads. Because even things wey no concern dem, dem go put mouth!!”

His remark implied that many of Wizkid’s fans were quick to jump into conversations where their opinions were neither needed nor relevant. This statement further fueled the social media war, as it was perceived as an unnecessary attack on a passionate and dedicated fanbase.

In response, Dammy Krane seized the opportunity to take another jab at Jaywon, accusing him of being obsessed with Davido. He mocked him, saying, “Jay-lost na you no wan comot FLOPIDO’s gbolahan from your mouth. I own you, Jay Jay.”

This statement implied that Jaywon was fixated on Davido and couldn’t stop talking about him. Refusing to back down, Jaywon fired back at Dammy Krane, making the argument more personal.

He wrote, “You Dey curse me like say I owe your papa money. Every little thing, your career this, your career that, and your father had none.” His response not only dismissed Dammy Krane’s claims but also took a shot at his family background, further igniting the controversy.

As the social media feud raged on, many netizens weighed in, mostly criticizing Dammy Krane for unnecessarily inserting himself into the argument.

Several users accused him of being desperate for attention and picking fights where they were not needed. Others felt Jaywon’s comments about FC were uncalled for and only served to stir up more drama.
