Kylie Minogue has announced a major world tour, her biggest in over a decade, along with a new album. The “Tension” tour will kick off in her native Australia and then proceed to Asia before reaching the UK in May 2025. More dates across Europe and the Americas are expected to be unveiled soon.
This tour follows a highly successful year for Minogue, highlighted by the viral hit “Padam Padam” and the release of her album “Tension.”
She also had a Las Vegas residency and a major performance at London’s Hyde Park earlier this summer.
Minogue expressed her excitement about the upcoming tour, promising fans an unforgettable experience filled with the energy and style of the Tension era.
The UK leg of the Tension tour will include performances in several cities such as Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield, Nottingham, Birmingham, and two shows at London’s O2 Arena.
Minogue hinted at the tour while announcing her new album, “Tension II,” which will be released in October. The lead single from the album, “Lights Camera Action,” will debut on September 27.
Minogue’s last tour was the Golden tour in 2018 and 2019, but the upcoming Tension tour will be her most extensive since the 2011 Aphrodite: Les Folies tour.
That tour supported her “Aphrodite” album, featuring hits like “All The Lovers” and “Get Outta My Way.”

“Tension II” is set to include exciting collaborations, featuring the dance track “Edge of Saturday Night” with The Blessed Madonna and contributions from artists like Orville Peck, Bebe Rexha, Tove Lo, and Sia.
Minogue spoke about how special the Tension era has been for her and her eagerness to continue celebrating it with her fans.
The tour announcement came shortly after the album reveal, showcasing her enthusiasm to keep the momentum of her recent successes going.
Kylie Minogue’s career began on the Australian soap “Neighbours” in the 1980s before she transitioned into a pop star with a string of hits across several decades. Her classic songs include “I Should Be So Lucky,” “Hand On Your Heart,” “Better The Devil You Know,” “Confide In Me,” “Spinning Around,” and the iconic “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head.”
Her recent single, “Padam Padam,” released in 2023, marked another reinvention, this time into the realm of electronic dance music.
The track gained massive popularity online, further solidifying her reputation for evolving with the times.
Earlier this year, Minogue received the global icon award at the Brit Awards and won a Grammy for best pop dance recording for “Padam Padam.”
Her latest achievements underline her enduring influence in the music industry. The upcoming tour and album are set to continue this trajectory, promising fans more exciting new music and spectacular live performances.
