Controversial Nollywood actress, Lizzy Anjorin, has sparked yet another social media storm by boldly claiming she is more righteous than renowned gospel musician, Tope Alabi.
This fiery declaration followed a dramatic incident that occurred during what was supposed to be a surprise birthday celebration. According to emerging reports, Tope Alabi had been booked to perform as a surprise guest at the event, but upon arriving at the venue and discovering who the celebrant was, she reportedly refused to step out of her car.
Her husband and manager, Soji Alabi, also remained in the vehicle, leaving the organizers and guests in a state of confusion and disappointment.

Taking things a step further, Anjorin launched into a spiritual comparison between herself and the gospel star, saying that her own moral standing and societal contributions far outweigh those of Tope Alabi. “Let’s not deceive ourselves,” she stated emphatically.
“Aunty Tope, I respect you, but I’m holier than you. If we truly evaluate our lives and look at the impact we’ve made, I’ve done more good. I’ve touched more lives positively. I’ve helped the helpless. I’ve stood by people when no one else would. That’s what holiness is about—not just singing gospel songs.”
Anjorin also addressed critics who might point to her history of legal controversies as a stain on her character. In her defense, she said, “Some will judge me because I have court cases. But let me ask, who is without flaws? The difference is that I’m not hiding mine. God has seen me through my battles, and I thank Him every day that He is not like man. If man were God, I’d have been finished long ago. But He has been my vindicator.” She further added that many so-called gospel figures hide behind the pulpit but live lives of judgment and pride.
