Scheduled for December 26 at the iconic Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos, the event promises an unforgettable evening of entertainment under the festive Lagos skies.
The announcement was made by the event’s organizers, Flykite Productions, in a statement highlighting the unique blend of boxing bouts and live performances.
Tagged “Boxing Jamz Music,” this edition of GOtv Boxing Night will feature six thrilling boxing matches alongside electrifying performances from some of Nigeria’s finest entertainers.
Speaking about the concept, Bamidele Johnson, Chief Operating Officer of Flykite Productions, explained, “It’s a party under the Lagos skies—a big party that combines entertainment and sports.
With Mayorkun, YKB, and MC Lively in the lineup, we’re offering fans an incredible way to round off their festive season. This is also the first time we’re including comedy, and we’re confident it will be a memorable experience for all.”
Mayorkun, a crowd favorite and 2018 Headies Next Rated Award winner, will lead the musical performances. Known for hits like Eleko and Let Me Know, his dynamic stage presence is expected to energize the audience.
