Nigerian gospel singer Moses Bliss has opened up about his first year of marriage to his wife, Marie, describing the experience as nothing short of divine.
In a recent conversation with media personality Chude Jideonwo, the singer beamed with joy as he reflected on his marital journey, stating that he wishes he could marry his wife over and over again.
“I’m so grateful for who I married,” Moses said. “I feel like paying her bride price every week, and I love it. You know how someone is your person or someone is designed for you.”
His words conveyed not only affection but a deep sense of gratitude and awe at finding love that feels tailor-made.
Looking back at his path to finding love, Moses Bliss admitted that he once accepted the idea of settling in relationships.
He shared that before meeting Marie, he had reached a point where he thought he’d have to accept whatever came his way. “I had gotten to the point that ‘anything you see, you collect it like that,’” he recalled.
“I never thought you could be so happy with someone and so comfortable with the person you’re with. This personal gift from God – I want to marry her again and again and continue discovering this love journey with her.”
His honesty highlighted how Marie transformed his understanding of love and companionship.
The singer didn’t hold back in praising his wife’s character and spiritual strength, describing her as a rare find. “I had never seen anyone who has it all, and she has it all,” Moses said with admiration.
“I feel like the world has not even seen half of her. She’s a woman of God, a full package, and a blessing. Imagine being married for a year and feeling more excited than during the wedding.”
His words painted a picture of a love that continues to blossom, defying the notion that excitement fades with time.
Beyond their personal connection, Moses Bliss also celebrated his wife’s unwavering support for his ministry. As a gospel artist with an international presence, he often travels extensively, and Marie’s steadfast support has been a pillar in their marriage.
He noted that her understanding, patience, and encouragement allow him to continue his work without worry. Her commitment to his calling, according to him, only deepens his admiration for her and strengthens their union.
Moses Bliss and Marie tied the knot in March 2024 in a grand multicultural celebration that beautifully fused the customs of their respective families.
Their traditional wedding in Ghana was a vibrant affair, marked by rich displays of music, dance, and traditional attire that honored their roots. Later that year, they welcomed their first child, announcing the birth of their baby boy on January 10, 2024.
For Moses, this first year has been filled with growth, joy, and an overwhelming sense of purpose, both in his family and his faith.
