Knives Out is a 2019 mystery film that has captivated audiences with its intricate plot, witty dialogue, and outstanding performances. The movie takes place in the fictional town of Willow Creek, Massachusetts, where the renowned mystery novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer) resides.

Harlan’s family is a complex and dysfunctional one, consisting of his daughter Linda (Jamie Lee Curtis), son Walt (Don Johnson), daughter-in-law Joni (Toni Collette), and grandson Ransom (Chris Evans). The story begins on Harlan’s 85th birthday, which is celebrated with a grand party at his estate.

However, the festivities are short-lived, as Harlan is found dead the next morning, his throat slit in an apparent suicide. Enter Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig), a charming and eccentric investigator with a penchant for solving impossible cases.

Blanc is hired by an anonymous client to uncover the truth behind Harlan’s death, which he suspects is not a suicide but a murder. As Blanc delves deeper into the case, he meets Marta Cabrera (Ana de Armas), Harlan’s kind and honest nurse who becomes his trusted ally.

Through a series of interviews and clever deductions, Blanc uncovers a web of deceit and motives among the Thrombey family members. Each character has secrets and a reason to want Harlan dead, making it a challenging task for Blanc to unravel the truth.
