Nigerian-Canadian filmmaker Olatunbosun Amao has made his directorial debut with the thriller Troublous Weekend, now available on YouTube.
The film centers on Jason Adams, portrayed by Stan Nze, who is the sole surviving child of affluent parents. Jason, along with his girlfriend Betty, played by Chinelo Enemchukw, plans a relaxing weekend at his grandmother’s house.
Accompanying them are Jason’s cousin Ken (Anthony Monjaro) and Ken’s girlfriend Isabel (Crystabel Goddy).
The planned celebrations, including Jason’s proposal to Betty, take a dark turn when the new maid Zina reveals the mysterious absence of Jason’s grandmother, setting off a series of unsettling events.
