Oasis has announced three additional concert dates for their highly anticipated reunion tour in the UK next year due to overwhelming demand. The band decided to extend the ticket pre-sale registration deadline to 10 am UK time on Friday, addressing concerns from fans on social media who had not received responses.

Those successful in the pre-sale ballot will be notified by 5 pm tomorrow with details on how to access tickets. This reunion marks the first time the band will perform together since Noel Gallagher’s departure 15 years ago, which had effectively ended Oasis until now.

The additional shows include performances on July 16 at Heaton Park in Manchester, July 30 at Wembley in London, and August 12 at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh. With these new dates, Oasis will now have five concerts in Wembley, five in Manchester, and three in Scotland, along with two shows each in Ireland and Wales.

Tickets for the newly added dates, following the pre-sale, are set to go on sale on Saturday morning, further fueling excitement among fans eager to see the iconic band back on stage.

Oasis initially announced that fans could secure tickets early through a pre-sale ballot, which led to a rush of registrations. The band’s social media channels reported an “unprecedented volume of entries,” reflecting the immense anticipation surrounding their comeback.

The decision to add more dates underscores the massive interest and the eagerness of fans to witness Oasis’s return to the music scene.

However, the reunion has also sparked controversy, particularly around rising hotel prices in the areas where the gigs will take place.

Some fans have reported that hotels, especially in Manchester, have significantly increased their rates, with one chain being accused of canceling pre-existing bookings made before the reunion announcement and relisting the rooms at higher prices.

Despite these issues, the excitement for Oasis’s return remains palpable, with fans eagerly awaiting the chance to see the band live once again.
