Renowned Nigerian filmmaker Femi Odugbemi has been appointed to serve on the International Engagement Committee of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Odugbemi’s one-year tenure, running until June 30, 2025, will involve collaborating with international professionals to support the Academy’s mission of fostering inclusivity and strengthening its influence across the global film industry. The committee will hold virtual meetings in mid-October, February, and April to accommodate members across different time zones.
