Singer and songwriter PinkPantheress, whose real name is Victoria Beverley, has cancelled all her remaining tour dates for the year. The 23-year-old artist, who gained fame by sharing snippets of her music on TikTok during the pandemic, announced this decision to her 2.2 million Instagram followers.
In her announcement, she expressed the need to prioritize her physical health and overall wellbeing, stating she has hit a wall she cannot overcome.
This cancellation affects her scheduled performances as the opening act for Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts tour in the US and Coldplay’s Music Of The Spheres shows in Australia and New Zealand.
Additionally, she was set to co-headline the Field Day festival in London and appear at various festivals in Florida, Arizona, and Thailand. PinkPantheress, known for her hit “Boy’s a Liar,” thanked her fans, touring team, and Olivia Rodrigo for their support and expressed her sadness over the cancellation, hoping to return to performing once her health improves.
Previously, in June 2022, she had to cancel a performance at Spain’s Primavera Festival due to significant hearing loss in her right ear.
Despite this, she had a successful year with her song “Angel” featured in the 2023 summer movie “Barbie” and the release of her debut album “Heaven Knows” in November.
Her tour, “Capable Of Love,” had been ongoing since February across the UK, Europe, and North America, with plans to continue in Melbourne, Australia, in late October before the cancellations.
