CHARACTER DESCRIPTION

Alice is a bold, dramatic Gen-Z model and social media influencer who believes visibility is everything. She is expressive, impatient, and highly self-aware of her online presence. Alice moves fast, talks fast, and lives on her phone. When things don’t go her way, she goes live.Alice refuses to admit fault easily and sees herself as the misunderstood victim of an outdated creative process.

Think: influencer entitlement meets raw vulnerability, with a lot of attitude and theatrics.

PERFORMANCE NOTES

• Must convincingly portray Gen-Z confidence, entitlement, and emotional volatility
• Strong sense of comedic timing and dramatic exaggeration
• Comfortable performing with a phone as a prop (live-stream energy)
• Must handle confrontational dialogue and interruptions naturally
• Improvisation skills are a plus

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

Please submit:

• A 1–2 minute dramatic monologue for Alice (View & Download Alice's Monologue)
• Optional: a short improvised clip reacting to being accused of being “unprofessional”
• Video must include name, age, height, location, and acting background

Technical Requirements:
Self-tapes must have good lighting and clear audio.

Please read carefully before submitting your audition.

GENERAL SETUP

Camera & Framing

• Use a phone or camera in landscape mode
• Frame from mid-chest to just above the head
• Keep the camera at eye level
• Do not move the camera during the take

Lighting

• Face a natural light source or use a soft light
• Avoid harsh shadows on the face
• Do not backlight yourself

Sound

• Record in a quiet space
• Ensure your voice is clear and audible
• Avoid background music or noise

PERFORMANCE INSTRUCTIONS

Tone & Style

• This is a comedy-drama, not a skit
• Play the character truthfully, even when exaggerated
• Avoid cartoon acting — energy should feel natural but bold

Language

• Perform in 95% English
• Add light Nigerian Pidgin only where it feels organic
• Accents should be authentic (do not overdo it)
