Character Description:

Cynthia is a glamorous, Gen-Z Nollywood actress who lives for attention and perfection. She is always dressed to slay, with an unapologetic tone and confidence that borders on delusion. In this episode, she’s accused of damaging a rented luxury gown with a high slit and stew stains—but instead of remorse, she leans into fashion logic and “creative freedom” as her defense. Cynthia is defensive, dramatic, and full of zingers. She’s not the villain—she’s misunderstood… in her own opinion.

GENERAL SETUP

Camera & Framing

• Use a phone or camera in landscape mode
• Frame from mid-chest to just above the head
• Keep the camera at eye level
• Do not move the camera during the take

Lighting

• Face a natural light source or use a soft light
• Avoid harsh shadows on the face
• Do not backlight yourself

Sound

• Record in a quiet space
• Ensure your voice is clear and audible
• Avoid background music or noise

PERFORMANCE INSTRUCTIONS

Tone & Style

• This is a comedy-drama, not a skit
• Play the character truthfully, even when exaggerated
• Avoid cartoon acting — energy should feel natural but bold
  

Language

• Perform in 95% English
• Add light Nigerian Pidgin only where it feels organic
• Accents should be authentic (do not overdo it)
