Nollywood actress Rita Dominic has joined the cast of “Two of a Kind,” a film produced by the creators of the 2017 movie “Potato Potahto.” Written and directed by acclaimed Ghanaian filmmaker Shirley Frimpong-Manso, the film is another addition to her pan-African productions.

Frimpong-Manso, CEO of Sparrow Productions and Sparrow Station, has received multiple awards, including Best Director at the Africa Movie Academy Awards for “The Perfect Picture” and the 2014 AMVCA for “Contract.”

She is known for highlighting strong female leads in her works such as “Rebecca,” “Shampaign,” and “Love or Something Like That.”

Rita Dominic, is a prominent Nollywood actress, brings decades of experience and numerous awards to the project. She made her Nollywood debut in “Time to Kill” and has starred in over a hundred films, including notable works like “Le Femme Anjola,” “The Therapist,” “The Meeting,” “Light in the Dark,” “The Blindspot,” and “Desecration.” She won the 2015 AMVCA for Best Actress in a Comedy for “The Meeting” and Best Actress in Drama/TV Series for “Iyore.”

“Two of a Kind,” which completed principal photography this year, is a Nigerian-Ghanaian collaboration featuring a diverse cast, including Gloria Osei, Akrobeto Akwasi, Kojo Boakye, Adjetey Anang, Jessica Larry, Dean Louis, Chidera David, and Arion.
