The show focuses on his challenges in rebuilding his life and fire station while dealing with personal issues.

Although no official cancellation has been announced, Lowe is proud of the show’s accomplishments, particularly its storytelling scope and production quality.

The speculation about the show’s future has been fueled by cast changes. Sierra McClain left the show in June amid reports of cast renegotiation issues, and Robyn Lively also announced she would not return.

Lowe’s son, John Owen Lowe, served as a writer for the first three seasons, gaining valuable experience and creating unique characters.Lowe praised his son for his storytelling abilities, and both acknowledged the learning experience of working together.

Despite criticism of nepotism, Lowe defended his decision to help his son, comparing it to any family business. John Owen emphasized that his work ethic and commitment to his craft will determine his longevity in the industry.

The elder Lowe noted that opportunities alone don’t guarantee success, stating that it’s up to individuals to prove themselves once given a chance.
