Salman Khan, the superstar of Bollywood, has announced his next big project, “Sikandar,” slated for an Eid 2025 release. Directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, this action-packed thriller marks Salman’s return to the Eid slot, a tradition he has maintained since the blockbuster success of “Dabangg” in 2010.
In typical Salman Khan fashion, he unveiled the first poster of “Sikandar” while also acknowledging this year’s Eid releases, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” and “Maidaan,” showcasing his camaraderie with fellow actors.
Salman’s track record with Eid releases speaks for itself, with almost every film, except for a few, turning into a blockbuster hit. Despite recent projects not reaching the anticipated blockbuster status, Salman remains optimistic about “Sikandar,” especially after considering various other potential projects.
As Salman gears up for another Eid release, this year’s Eid will witness a clash between “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” and “Maidaan,” albeit without the usual fervor associated with holiday releases, as industry observers note a lack of heightened audience excitement for either film.
