Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a new series of lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct, including accusations of rape, molestation, and sexual assault involving six individuals, one of whom was a 16-year-old boy at the time of the alleged incident.
The lawsuits, filed on Monday, bring additional claims against the hip-hop mogul, who has also been known as P Diddy. The legal filings describe various instances of sexual abuse, with some allegations dating back decades.
The lawsuits, submitted in a federal court in New York City, add to the growing number of cases against Combs, which have escalated following his arrest for sex trafficking charges in September.
The recently filed lawsuits come from six anonymous plaintiffs, identified only as Jane Does and John Does, to protect their identities.
These plaintiffs include two women and four men who accuse Combs of various acts of sexual misconduct. The claims suggest a pattern of behavior involving sexual assault, drugging, and threats, allegedly spanning several years.
Combs is currently facing a legal onslaught, as it is believed that more than 100 alleged victims are preparing to take legal action against him following the sex trafficking allegations that surfaced last month.
One of the most troubling claims comes from a North Carolina man who alleges that Combs molested him at one of the rapper’s famous “white parties” in the Hamptons, New York, back in 1998, when the man was only 16 years old.
According to the lawsuit, the incident occurred during a conversation where Combs allegedly made inappropriate advances while discussing the boy’s aspirations to break into the music industry.
This accusation is one among several others detailing incidents of sexual abuse and coercion, which paint a disturbing picture of the allegations against the music mogul.
The legal complaints also include graphic accounts of sexual violence, such as one claim by a Jane Doe who alleges that Combs raped her in a hotel room in 2004.
She further claims that Combs forced her friend to perform a sexual act on him under threat of harm, stating that he would have them both killed if they did not comply.
These harrowing allegations, along with claims of drugging victims to incapacitate them, suggest a recurring pattern of abusive behavior by Combs that is now coming to light through these lawsuits.
The law firm representing the alleged victims released a statement asserting their commitment to seeking justice and indicated that more cases are expected to be filed against Combs in the coming weeks.
The firm noted that additional evidence is being collected to support these claims, which will lead to more lawsuits involving Combs and potentially other individuals connected to the alleged incidents.
The legal team emphasized that they would allow the allegations presented in court to speak for themselves as they pursue legal action against the accused.
In response, Combs’ legal representatives dismissed the lawsuits as publicity stunts, arguing that the press conference and hotline set up for additional claims were attempts to generate media attention.
They maintained Combs’ innocence, stating that he has never sexually assaulted anyone, whether adult or minor, male or female. Despite the mounting accusations, Combs and his legal team expressed confidence in the judicial process and anticipated that the truth would emerge in court.
Combs, who is currently 54, remains in jail following his September 16 arrest on charges related to using his business empire to facilitate sex trafficking activities across state lines.
