Nigerian singer Spyro has shared an emotional testimony online, giving fans a glimpse into his incredible journey from struggle to success.
On April 22, 2025, the Who’s Your Guy? crooner took to Instagram to proudly show off his new home, a tastefully decorated and luxurious space that he revealed he designed himself.
But more than just a house tour, Spyro used the moment to deliver a powerful message of faith and perseverance. “Posting this here for two reasons,” he wrote in the caption, “1) to let you guys know I am also a super interior designer as I did all this myself and most importantly, 2) to tell someone that my JESUS is still in the business of taking men from point zero to FULLNESS.”

He remembered the skepticism he faced early in his career, with some critics suggesting he wouldn’t survive in the competitive Nigerian music industry due to his ‘Jesus baby’ branding.
“Two years ago I was a write-off and sometimes I still feel like I am dreaming,” he shared. “Same me that many told wouldn’t last in this industry for tagging myself Jesus boy. Someone even asked me to check if anyone had ever done it and survived it.”
Despite those doubts, Spyro maintained that his faith has been his greatest strength.
He described his transformation as nothing short of divine intervention, attributing his success not to industry connections or strategy, but to the unshakable support of his faith.
“But my God is called Oranmonise Fayati,” he wrote, referencing a Yoruba name for God that means “The One who sends and stands by you.” For Spyro, his current lifestyle — owning properties, living comfortably, and thriving in his career — is evidence of what is possible when one trusts fully in God’s plan.
