“Taaza Khabar,” an Indian action-drama series, is returning for a second season on Disney+ Hotstar.
The show follows Vasant Gawde, a sanitation worker who discovers he can predict the future and uses this power to gain wealth and influence, but at the expense of his relationships.
Created by Bhuvan Bam and Rohit Raj, the series features a cast including Shriya Pilgaonkar, Mahesh Manjrekar, and others. Season two is currently in production and promises to delve deeper into Vasant’s journey as he seeks to rewrite his destiny.
Disney+ Hotstar executives expressed excitement over the show’s success and the opportunity to continue the story. Bhuvan Bam, known for his YouTube and social media presence, expressed gratitude for the audience’s support and teased more intricacies in the upcoming season.
Director Himank Gaur highlighted the thematic exploration of magical powers and their consequences, promising a gripping story in the new season. Launch dates for season two are yet to be announced.
