Taylor Swift sings on one track off her new double album, “The Tortured Poet’s Department.” This past year has been phenomenal for both her and fellow pop star Beyoncé, with highly successful tours, movies based on those tours, and new albums.

These achievements have significantly boosted their net worths and improved their rankings on Forbes’ list of America’s Richest Self-Made Women.

Swift and Beyoncé have a long-standing friendship, supporting each other’s successes. In 2021, Beyoncé sent Swift a bouquet to celebrate her Grammy win for “Folklore.”

Recently, both attended the premieres of the films documenting their record-breaking tours.

Swift’s net worth has climbed to an estimated $1.3 billion, up from $1.1 billion in October and $740 million on the 2023 Self-Made Women list.

The increase last fall came from the first leg of her Eras Tour, adding an estimated $300 million to her fortune.

Since October, the value of her catalog, now estimated at $600 million, and royalties, along with $55 million from the film version of The Eras Tour, contributed to a $200 million jump in her fortune.

Swift now ranks No. 24 on the Self-Made Women list, up from No. 34 a year ago. Her new album, “The Tortured Poet’s Department,” broke multiple records, including reaching 1 billion streams within five days and claiming the top 14 spots on the Billboard Hot 100.

Beyoncé concluded her five-month, 17-country Renaissance World Tour last October, earning an estimated $100 million. In December, she released “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé,” documenting the tour, which grossed nearly $44 million.

In March, she released her first country album, “Cowboy Carter,” which broke Spotify’s record for streams in its first week, a record later surpassed by Swift.

These milestones increased Beyoncé’s fortune by $220 million to an estimated $760 million, moving her up three places to No. 45 on the Self-Made Women list.

In February, Beyoncé launched a high-end hair care line, Cécred, and will appear in “Mufasa: The Lion King” with her daughter Blue Ivy, set for release in December.
