Since securing a substantial deal with Netflix, estimated to exceed £100m, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been actively involved in producing three documentaries. Now, they are set to expand their collaboration with Netflix as executive producers for two upcoming shows, as announced by the streaming platform. One series will delve into the joys of cooking, gardening, and friendship, while the other promises unprecedented access to the world of professional polo.
Produced under their company, Archewell Productions, details regarding the titles and release dates for both programs are expected to be unveiled in the coming months. This venture follows Harry and Meghan’s decision to step back from royal duties, marking a significant shift in their focus towards the entertainment industry.
Among their previous documentary releases is “Heart Of Invictus,” which documented service members preparing for the Invictus Games, an initiative spearheaded by Prince Harry in 2014 to support injured and sick military personnel and veterans.
Also, “Live To Lead,” presented by the couple, featured insightful interviews with world leaders and influencers. Notably, their documentary “Harry And Meghan” garnered global attention, swiftly becoming the second most-watched documentary on Netflix.
Released in December 2022, the six-part series featured candid discussions, with Meghan addressing her experience of miscarriage and Harry reflecting on the passing of his grandfather, Prince Philip.
