Nigerian Afrobeats star Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known as Wizkid, has announced that his upcoming sixth studio album will be dedicated to his late mother, Jane Morayo Balogun.
In a video message shared on social media, the “Ojuelegba” singer revealed that the album, titled “Morayo” in honor of his mother, will be released very soon.
Wizkid expressed his deep affection for his mother, referring to her as “the love of my life,” and urged fans not to miss out on the new album.
Jane Dolapo Balogun passed away on August 18, 2023, in London, and Wizkid has described the pain of her loss as profoundly hurtful.
