Grammy-winning Afrobeats star Wizkid has officially released the music video for his single “Kese (Dance)” om March 5, 2025.

The track, which serves as the second lead single off his sixth studio album, Morayo, has already made waves across streaming platforms. Following its release, Kese (Dance) shattered records by achieving the highest opening-day streams for any song on Spotify Nigeria, further solidifying Wizkid’s dominance in the industry. The music video is a vibrant and dynamic addition to Wizkid’s extensive catalog.

The music video for Kese (Dance) marks the second visual release from Morayo, following Piece of My Heart, his collaboration with American R&B singer Brent Faiyaz. The latter has been widely celebrated, recently earning the award for Best Contemporary Duo or Group at the prestigious 2025 NAACP Awards.

Wizkid’s ability to seamlessly blend Afrobeats with R&B elements has not only expanded his global reach but also showcased his versatility as an artist. The success of Piece of My Heart has set high expectations for Kese (Dance), with fans anticipating an equally captivating visual experience.

2025 is shaping up to be a monumental year for Wizkid, as he gears up for a global tour in support of Morayo. The superstar recently announced a series of international tour dates, spanning France, the Netherlands, and Germany.

These shows are expected to draw massive crowds, reaffirming Wizkid’s status as one of the most influential African artists on the global stage. His ability to sell out venues across Europe highlights the ever-growing appeal of Afrobeats and his role in bringing the genre to international audiences.

One of the biggest highlights of the Morayo tour will be Wizkid’s headlining show at Berlin’s Velodrome Arena on May 21, a 12,000-capacity venue that has hosted some of the world’s biggest artists. From there, he will take his electrifying performances to the Ahoy RTM Stage in Rotterdam, Netherlands, on May 23, further expanding his presence across Europe.

Then, on May 25, he will headline the iconic Accor Arena in Paris, France, a venue that boasts a staggering 20,000-seat capacity. These shows will mark some of the biggest performances of his career, proving his continued dominance in the global music scene.

The Morayo tour follows the success of Wizkid’s sixth studio album, which was released in November 2024 to critical and commercial acclaim. The project features an impressive lineup of guest appearances, including Afrobeats star Asake, French hitmaker Tiakola, French-Gabonese singer Anaïs Cardot, and American R&B powerhouses Jasmine Sullivan and Brent Faiyaz.

The album showcases a fusion of Afrobeats, R&B, and international influences, reinforcing Wizkid’s ability to create music that resonates with fans across different cultures. As anticipation builds for his upcoming performances, fans can expect a setlist filled with hits from Morayo and his extensive discography.

Wizkid’s return to the stage is highly anticipated, especially following his remarkable achievements in recent years. During the 2024 Detty December festive season, he thrilled fans with surprise concert appearances, performing tracks from Morayo to enthusiastic audiences.

His past tours have been met with massive success, including selling out London’s O2 Arena for three consecutive nights, a historic feat for an African artist. He also made history by headlining Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, further cementing his reputation as a global music icon.

With his upcoming tour and the release of the Kese (Dance) music video, 2025 is set to be another groundbreaking year for the Afrobeats legend.
