Actor Akshay Kumar has joined the cast of the Vishnu Manchu-led film “Kannappa,” marking his debut in Telugu cinema, as announced by the film’s producers. Although Kumar’s role remains undisclosed, his inclusion adds excitement to the project.
Manchu, portraying the titular character, shared the news on his official social media page, expressing anticipation for this thrilling journey in Telugu cinema alongside Kumar. “Kannappa” narrates the true story of Kannappa, a devout follower of Lord Shiva, promising an unforgettable adventure for audiences.
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced under Manchu’s AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory banners, “Kannappa” boasts an ensemble cast featuring Preity Mukhundhan, Mohanlal, Mohan Babu, R Sarathkumar, Brahmanandam, Madhoo, and Mukesh Rishi.
