Current Miss USA, Noelia Voigt, has announced her decision to step down from her title to focus on her mental health. Voigt, 24, who won the beauty pageant last year, represented the US at the Miss Universe competition in El Salvador.
Taking to Instagram, she expressed the importance of prioritizing mental well-being and noted her journey as Miss USA, representing Utah and the USA at Miss Universe, as meaningful. Despite this, she made the difficult choice to resign from her title.
The Miss USA pageant confirmed acceptance of Voigt’s resignation, emphasizing their support for her decision to prioritize herself. Plans for the transition of responsibilities to a successor are currently under review.

Voigt expressed gratitude for the platform to address social issues such as anti-bullying, dating violence, and immigration rights, highlighting her heritage as the first Venezuelan American Miss USA.
Reflecting on her journey, Voigt shared her aspirations to inspire others to pursue their dreams relentlessly and prioritize mental health.
She acknowledged that stepping down marks the beginning of a new chapter for her and encouraged others to advocate for themselves and embrace uncertainty in the future. Despite resigning from her title, Voigt remains committed to using her voice to make a positive impact.
