Pastor Emmanuel Iren, the well-known Nigerian pastor of Celebration Church International, has ventured into filmmaking. He announced last week that he has been working on a feature film titled “What About Us?”, with the poster revealing its cinema release date on July 12, 2024.
Yesterday, he released the film’s trailer on Instagram, encouraging followers to mark their calendars for the premiere.
The film tells the story of a Christian couple struggling with their marriage, which intensifies when a new couple moves in next door and the wife forms an uncomfortably close relationship with the neighbor’s husband.
The star-studded cast includes Uzor Arukwe, Folu Storms, Kunle Remi, Teniola Aladese, Aeyi Awolowo, Marycolette Unamka, and Atlanta Bridget Johnson. Pastor Iren serves as the executive producer and story creator, with Ife Olujuyigbe writing the screenplay and Kayode Kasum directing.

“What About Us?” is produced by Narrative Entertainment Production, a company associated with Pastor Iren, with FilmOne handling its distribution.
