Shakira has thrilled her fans with a surprise announcement of her upcoming world tour at Coachella 2024. Rising from the stage during DJ Bizarrap’s set, she performed their new track, “La Fuerte,” before the backdrop transformed to reveal the tour’s title, “Shakira, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.”

Expressing her excitement, Shakira revealed the tour would commence in November, marking her return to the stage after a hiatus since her last tour in 2018 following the release of her album “El Dorado.”

The announcement came after the recent release of her 12th studio album, “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran,” which chronicles her journey from heartbreak to resurgence, partly inspired by her breakup with former Barcelona footballer Gerard Pique.

Coachella 2024, spanning two weekends in April, features an impressive lineup including headliners Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat and Tyler the Creator, along with a special No Doubt reunion with Gwen Stefani.

Held in the Colorado Desert, the renowned festival will also showcase performances from London rock band Blur and South Korean DJ and singer Peggy Gou. Shakira’s surprise announcement added to the excitement surrounding the event, promising fans an unforgettable experience as she embarks on her highly anticipated world tour.
