Veteran Nollywood actor Zulu Adigwe has sadly passed away, with reports indicating his death occurred on Tuesday evening. Movie producer Stanley Nwoko announced Adigwe’s passing via an Instagram post, expressing regret and offering condolences.
The cause of his death is yet to be disclosed.
Adigwe’s journey began in Enugu, where he spent the majority of his formative years. However, he later relocated to Austria, where he completed his primary and secondary education. Before venturing into acting, Adigwe pursued academic interests, studying French and German. He also worked as a teacher and briefly explored the field of Medicine.
Howbeit, a pivotal moment occurred when he returned to Nigeria following the passing of his father, prompting a shift in his career trajectory.

Upon his return, Adigwe decided to pursue his passion for the arts and enrolled at the prestigious University of Ibadan. There, he immersed himself in the study of Theatre Arts, ultimately graduating with First Class Honours.
This educational journey equipped him with the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
Zulu Adigwe rose to prominence as a versatile Nigerian actor and singer, carving a niche for himself through his portrayal of paternal figures in Nollywood productions. His breakthrough role came as Mr. B in the beloved sitcom “Basi and Company.”
Over the years, Adigwe continued to captivate audiences with his talent and versatility, culminating in his appearance in the 2019 blockbuster hit, “Living in Bondage: Breaking Free.”
