Durban families were left disappointed as the highly anticipated PAW Patrol Live! ‘Race to the Rescue’ show, scheduled for June 22 and 23 at the Durban ICC, has been cancelled due to low ticket sales.
Blu Blood, along with Paramount Global, VStar Entertainment Group, and TEG Life Like Touring, confirmed that despite their best efforts, the event did not garner enough interest to proceed.
The cancellation decision was made after careful consideration by both local and international teams, emphasizing that it was beyond their control.
The organizers expressed deep regret over the situation, acknowledging the disappointment it has caused among fans. They emphasized that the decision was not taken lightly and extended sincere apologies for any inconvenience.
Blu Blood highlighted their commitment to bringing joy to their audience and reassured that they hope to continue presenting exciting shows in the region in the future.
Despite the setback in Durban, the Joburg show is still on track to take place from June 28 to 30 at the Theatre of Marcellus, Emperors Palace.
PAW Patrol, a popular animated preschool series created by Spin Master Entertainment and aired on Nick Jr DStv 307, features the adventures of heroic pups Marshall, Chase, Skye, Rubble, Rocky, Zuma, and Everest.
The series has garnered a large following among young children, who have become fans of the various rescue missions and characters.
